Geometric Moray Eel
The Geometric Moray Eel is the most-common eel in Egypt's Red Sea, and it is also found in the western Indian Ocean. They inhabit areas dived by recreational scuba divers (5-40 metres) and hunt at night. During the day they hide most of their bodies in caverns in the reef, mouthing water to maintain oxygen flow. Therefore, they're easy to spot, and nice to photograph. Although they appear aggressive, if given space they are harmless to humans.
