Psychedelic Batwing Slug

Sagaminopteron psychedelicum is a small but very attractive sea slug in the Gastropteridae family of the Cephalaspidea order. It is most-often found in the Coral Triangle area, such as northern Indonesia and southern Philippines.

I have seen the Psychedelic Batwing slug on Irene Reef in the Great Barrier Reef in the late 1990’s while conducting marine surveys for Crown of Thorns starfish research. Email me for details.
