MV Emperor Superior

Emperor Superior is a large boat that can accommodate up to 26 guests in comfort. There are several cabin types to choose from, plus plenty of space and a choice of communal areas to relax between dives. At 37 metres in length, and purpose built for scuba diving, Emperor Superior is a large and comfortable boat for up to 26 guests. On the upper deck there is a twin and a double cabin, both with large windows and doors that open out onto the deck.If you want a cabin to yourself, the single-supplement rate is lower than most other boats, please ask us for details. And on the lower deck are 10 standard cabins, which represent the very best-value liveaboard diving in the Red Sea. Eight of the standard cabins have side-by-side beds, and two have half bunks, allowing for both privacy & communication. All cabins have air-conditioning and private bathrooms, and each guest is provided with two towels. Due to the choice and type of cabins, Emperor Superior is very popular for full-charter bookings by diving clubs.

The boat has a large sundeck that has plenty of soft seating and sun loungers. Here sun worshippers can enjoy the clear blue skies, but in the early morning, evening and at night the views and sea breeze attract other guests as well. On the upper deck behind the two guest cabins there is a huge shaded relaxing area with great views. There’s easily enough comfortable seating for all guests, making this area ideal for group briefings as well as socialising between dives and during the evenings.

On Emperor Superior’s main deck there is the air-conditioned dining room and lounge saloon. In front of the dining room is the kitchen, where the chefs create plenty of delicious food that is served buffet style. It’s a blend of cuisines, and if you have any special dietary needs, just let us know in advance. The lounge saloon is stylish and comfortable, and guests are welcome to relax with a movie or just to escape from the heat for a while. There really are plenty of places and a wide choice of communal social areas on Emperor Superior.

And let’s not forget the diving. Emperor Superior has a large and well-designed dive deck that has two bathrooms, a Nitrox membrane and near-silent compressors for filling tanks between dives. Each guest gets his or her own slot for equipment throughout the cruise. Sometimes divers jump in from the large & low dive platform at the rear of the main deck, and at other times the two tender dinghies are used to reach the exact entry point of the dive site. The boat has a full range of safety and navigation equipment, plus free Wi-Fi for guests when in range. With the free Nitrox and park fees included in the rates, Emperor Superior is excellent value, but still very comfortable.

Prices & Schedule

There are several itineraries on Emperor Superior, but all sail from and return to Hurghada. Please carefully select an itinerary from the list below that matches your chosen trip on the schedule. On nearly all trips, the first and final nights are spent on board in the harbour. This enables you to arrive by plane, travel directly to the boat, recover from jetlag before diving, and to safely fly after disembarkation on the final day.
