Manta Queen 5 is one of the very-popular Manta Queen liveaboard fleet that offers trips to the best diving areas in Thailand. New for 2023-2024, Manta Queen 5 takes guests to the best dive sites of Thailand. After a couple of years at the southern areas of Phuket, MQ5 is now back to Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock!

The boat has recently been completely renovated and transformed into the great-value, safe & sturdy liveaboard diving boat that it is today. There are twin cabins, all of which have air-conditioning, and at 26 metres long, there’s plenty of space to chat in pairs or small groups, or relax alone and soak up some sun or gaze at the night stars while enjoying a wonderful sea breeze.

Diving from Manta Queen 5 is extremely-good value. The prices are among the lowest, and there’s even free pick up and drop off from local areas. Lots of delicious food is served buffet style and throughout the day there are snacks, fruits and some drinks for free. Equipment rental is great value, and everything is well run & organised, yet safe and fun. Now MQ5 has free Wi-Fi when in range of a cellular signal!

Dive-Tanks-On-Manta-Queen-5Divers of all levels of experience and certification are welcome and will enjoy the trips. But anyone who is not yet certified to 30 metres can choose between the Adventure Deep single dive or the Advanced Course (5 dives). There is a wide range of other courses available, all taught by qualified and experienced instructors.

Some other websites show the trips to be to The southern islands around Phuket, but this is wrong. From October 2023 Manta Queen 5 now back to the north Andaman of Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon & Koh Tachai. The trips are 3D3N, with up to 11 dives.

Itinerary

Booking / Enquiry

New from October 2023-2024 Manta Queen 5's itineraries are back to the North Andaman. This is a 3D/3N trip starting in the evening and ending in the late afternoon, three days later.

Be careful, because some other websites show the trips to be 4D/3N. Although they do span four calendar dates, the boat sets sail in the evening and returns in the afternoon. Therefore, the trips are less than 72 hours long.

Some other websites might also be showing the itinerary as Phi Phi, Racha Islands and Phuket, but the boat has a new itinerary. Details are listed below.

The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.

The only thing is the rock hard mattress in the cabins. Super unpleasant made the night's a course of survival. At least not as good as it could be.

Very well organised scuba diving boat trip. The instructors are fun and professional, and the staff is friendly and obliging. The food is fantastic, you have to watch out not to gain a few pounds. The underwater fauna and flora is amazing and the visibility was great. Highlight: the Boonsung wreck! I would definitely recommend the trip to others.
