Ambon Crinoid / Commensal Shrimp

Laomenes amboinensis is sometimes also referred to as Periclimenes amboinensis, and more-commonly known as the (Ambon) Crinoid Shrimp and the Commensal Shrimp. Found in the Indo-Pacific region on feather stars / crinoids. Your best chance of seeing one is while muck diving in Ambon, Indonesia. Colouration varies, depending on the species & colour of the host crinoid.
